Cloud Infra DevOps Engineer | Contract

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, implement, and manage CI/CD pipelines using GitLab to streamline development workflows.
• Deploy, manage, and scale containerized applications using Kubernetes (EKS).
• Perform routine administration and optimization of Red Hat Linux servers.
• Implement, monitor, and maintain AWS cloud security best practices.
• Troubleshoot and resolve infrastructure and deployment issues.
• Collaborate with development and operations teams to enhance system performance and reliability.

Requirements:

• Degree in Computer Engineer or any related discipline
• More than 4 years of hands-on experience with GitLab and CI/CD pipeline configurations.
• Proficiency in Kubernetes (EKS) for container orchestration and management.
• Basic to advanced knowledge of Amazon Web Services (AWS) for infrastructure and deployment.
• Solid experience in Red Hat Linux system administration, including troubleshooting and optimization.

Nice-to-Have:

• Familiarity with PEGA infrastructure.
• Proficiency in Bash, PowerShell, or Python for automation.
• Knowledge of cloud security best practices and governance frameworks on AWS.
• Experience with Ship Hats and the GCC 2.0 AWS environment.
• Certified Kubernetes Administrator (CKA) or Certified Kubernetes Application Developer (CKAD).
• AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Associate or AWS Certified DevOps Engineer – Professional.
